Our Wines

We put a great deal of care into finding well-balanced, great-tasting wines, regularly tasting over one-hundred candidates every week. We choose wines for many reasons: hedonistic pleasure, intellectual interest and price/value relationship.

We consider each wine chosen to be the best of its type within its cost parameters. Bin604 always makes room for exciting new finds, striving to discover wines with a true sense of place and character.

If you have special favorites that we don't carry, we'd be happy to order them for you if available. Please call or visit the shop for the most comprehensive and updated listing.

Featured Wines

Washington’s high quality growing areas lie east of the Cascades, taking advantage of the “rain shadow” affect that creates warmer, drier, growing conditions.  Vineyards here receive long hours of summer sunshine, which is crucial for ripening grapes. Washington’s growers enjoy reliable autumn weather for harvest.

Airfield Estates “Unoaked” Chardonnay 2012, Yakima Valley $17.99

Enjoy fruit-driven aromas with a mineral accent which lead into crisp flavors of green apple and citrus.  A zingy white with just enough richness.

Airfield Estates “Fly Girl White” 2012, Yakima Valley $17.99
Fly girl is a highly aromatic blend based on Pinot Gris.  It wafts from the glass with flowers, musk, and orchard fruits.  Generous flavors of peach and apple skins burst forth on a plump palate with just enough balancing vibrancy.

Airfield Estates “Bombshell Red” 2011, Yakima Valley $20.99
This playful Syrah-based blend offers expressive aromas of flowers, berries and pepper.  The palate is a mouthful of dark mixed berries mixed with spicy oak.

Obelisco Syrah 2009, Red Mountain $39.99

Obelisco is a relatively new producer, who is located on the southwest slope of Red Mountain.  The terroir here is well-suited for Syrah, producing bold, chewy wines stylistically more like the Languedoc than the Northern Rhone.

Cedar, dill, vanilla and coconut oil waft from the glass.  These notes soon give way to a mix of ripe blue, black, and red berries with hints of smoked meat. Delicious and concentrated, with supple chewy tannins.

Andrew Will “Champoux Vineyard” 2010, Horse Heaven Hills $72.99
Andrew Will, one of Washington’s most famed producers, has been out of our market for years.  We are happy to have his wines available again on the strong 2010 vintage.  Top-quality fruit from the Champoux Vineyard makes this a 30-year wine.  It is a Bordeaux-inspired blend featuring fresh, ripe, red berries and a firm structure.

2012 Lenne "LeNez" Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton
Soft and rich, the 2012 vintage in Oregon's Willamette Valley produced wines with generous fruit profiles and immediate accessibility. Deftly balanced, concentrated flavors of plum, black cherry, anise and mocha are beautifully woven together before pleasant mid-palate grip and a lingering, fine-grained tannic structure round things out.

Price: $34.99/bottle or $349.90/case of 12
